Para-Bytes 3 Year License

Three-year, renewable district-wide license for Para-Bytes, bite-sized professional development designed specifically to help busy PreK-12 paraprofessionals provide fabulous inclusive supports to ALL students!

Para-Bytes is a professional development series led by Dr. Julie Causton and Dr. Kristie Pretti-Frontczak. This program offers 24 on-demand videos with practical, evidence-based strategies for paraprofessionals. Each Byte includes actionable tips, relatable stories, and opportunities for reflection and discussion. Grounded in research and real-world experience, Para-Bytes ensures your team is well-equipped to support diverse learners. Learn at your own pace and transform your school community together.

What You Get!

• 24 Byte-sized sessions co-taught by inclusion experts Dr. Julie Causton and Dr. Kristie Pretti-Frontczak
• Each Byte is about 15 minutes long and answers a single question for paraprofessionals to help keep learning focused and practical. From “What is my role in supporting students in an inclusive school?” to “What are the behavioral strategies I should have at the ready?”
• Bytes includes activities, reflection, and a handy-handout to help paras put their learning immediately into practice
• Accountability measures to help track learning and implementation steps
• Downloadable Certificate of Completion that includes a place to enter number of hours spent learning. Note, you can determine the number of hours. By way of content, it will take 5.5 hours to watch all 24 Bytes. And, it could be that paraprofessionals spend many more hours to engage in reflection, discuss learning with others in small groups, determine action steps, implement strategies on the job, debrief with other educators, and engage with The Paraprofessional's Handbook as a supplemental resource.

Upon investing in a license, we give you immediate access to a customized and password-protected dashboard. This dashboard serves as the online content hub for all videos, supplemental resources, materials, and handouts. The dashboard provides educators with a one-stop place, which can be accessed at paraprofessionals' own pace and on their schedule, or the district’s PD schedule.
